Art to Wear and More, Show and Sale Happens
November 12 AND 13
The show is now back and bigger than before! Sacramento Center for the Textile Arts (SCTA) is bringing back the two-day show. Last year was an easing out of the Pandemic, this year we are looking brightly to the future.
There will be TWO Art to Wear Fashion Shows, both occurring at 10 am each morning. My upcycled, sustainable, and couture jackets, purses, and jewelry will be worn by either myself or SCTA volunteer models.
I will have a booth to showcase and sell my unique items. This show and sale celebrates the creative use of textiles. It is The Marketplace for wearable art and handmade items. I am thrilled to see all the artists coming back to this show and sale.
This year, just like the past years’ shows, there is free admission and parking. We will have live music by Sabrina the Songmistress, with her versatile, jazzy, and inspiring music that is sure to uplift anyone’s mood.
There will be food available to purchase from Candies Kitchen with Booker T featuring a Southern flair for food. There will be raffle prizes, with the earnings going to help college students.
And we will be back at the Shepard Garden and Arts Center at 3330 McKinley Boulevard, Sacramento, CA 95816.
This event will be one of the best this year, and will kickoff the holidays gift giving season. More information and pictures coming soon, and in the meantime, stop by the sale items on my boutique. See you soon!
