Exciting, Fun, and Fabulous Weekend with Art Elephants to Culture Collections
This weekend is going to be busy! I am working at two different events over two different days.
On Saturday:
Sacramento Center for the Textile Arts is putting on their annual event called the Art Elephant Sale. Shop for gently used art supplies and materials and talk to the artists. See old friends and meet new ones.
Time: 10 am to 3 pm
Place: Shepard Garden and Arts Center: 3300 McKinley Boulevard, Sacramento, CA 95816-3824
The event will be inside, and there is limited parking available.
This weekend might be a little warm, so make sure to wear comfortable clothing.
Some of the things that might be sold are cords and buttons, beads and yardage, and everything in between.
Gather new ideas and help us reuse these items. Less in the landfill and more fun too!
On Sunday:
The Curtis Fest Artisan Fair will be put on by Sierra 2 and SCNA. This is the 14th (kinda) Annual event because they moved the date from August to June. Over 70 vendors are selling handmade items. Plus, there will be live music, and food trucks onsite.
I will be at booth 57, Culture Collection selling raffle tickets for the Sister Quilting Collective Opportunity Quilt. There will be shade and tents and cooling areas and water fountains too.
Time: 10 am to 4 pm
Place: Curtis Park: 3349 W Curtis Drive, Sacramento, CA 95818
The event will be outside, under the beautiful trees and on the grass.
Come on out to either or both events and enjoy the sunshine, fun events, and art.
