Free Event, Gorgeous Creations, and Recycled Art This Weekend

From Found Objects comes beautiful earrings

Like I stated before, I love creating with recycled materials to make wearable art. I took the pieces in the left picture to create beautiful upcycled and new earrings.

Upcycle means to reuse discarded objects or materials in such a way as to create a product (earrings) of higher quality or value than the original.

It does mean that I have some amazing new products that are available NOW. This weekend, I am participating in the Sacramento Suburban Kiwanis Annual Art Fiesta. There will be art from more than 100 people.

The weekend event, spans two days: September 11 and 12, 2021. It is at the Pavilions Shopping Center from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm on Fair Oaks Boulevard. More information can be found at https://www.sacramento365.com/event/kiwanis-art-fiesta-4/. This website has a map and other important information as well.

The hoop earrings were designed and created using brown paper bags. The bags were painted, dried, and shaped. And then I topped it off with a glossy accents glaze. I have silver and gold accents for those that like one rather than another.

All of these earrings are one of a kind, wearable art. The have the colors of summer and fall, and offer a bling of color and metallics. The colors of clay or adobe (orangey brown), greens, and reds are about to turn up everywhere. And the blues, oh the blues, of spring lake, clear sky, and Ibiza or Mykonos Blue. Both blues are attention-grabbing colors of Greek islands seas and Spain’s skies. It works well with indigo and black jeans too.

Be ahead of everyone by coming to the fiesta and festival this weekend! If you cannot go, check out the boutique after the fiesta and I will have more items up then.
