Dye Day with Yvonne
Love color and the look of hand-dyed fabric but don't want to worry about preparing multiple dye solutions, or learning the science behind dyeing? This class is perfect, all the mixing (and clean up) is done for you. Dye a stash of beautiful, one of a kind of textiles, cottons for quilting, dollies for embellishing, even t-shirts to wear.
Class may take place outside and be limited to 4 students. Restrictions require for all participants must wear masks and adhere to social distancing guidelines.

| Skill Details: | Explore the design possibilities of Procion fiber-reactive dyes, learn to create your own beautiful hand-fabrics. Create fascinating textures and produce any number of coordinating color families. You will become familiar with the principles of color theory and create color progression and value gradations. There's no mess and no fuss because everything is mixed inside plastic bags! |
