ONE DAY Hand Dyed Fabric Workshop
Color your cloth and explore fabulous hand dyed fabrics.I have always loved dyeing fabrics.
I have many books on Surface Design in my library. About dozen of them are on dyeing and fabric painting. I have taken classes with most of the authors of these wonderful instructional books I love and even have autograph copies. I have learned many different techniques from the best fiber artists and I plan to teach you what I have learned. All of that knowledge rolled up into an afternoon of fun in a one day workshop.
So if you love hand-dyed fabric and always wanted to create your own textiles but don’t like all the mess, this class is perfect for beginners as well as the experienced.
Take your quilting and sewing projects to another level.
This class will take place outside and is limited to six students. COVID-19 restrictions enforced. Attendees are required to wear dusk masks. You need one anyway for protection from the dye particles. Please wear old clothes and bring an apron and gloves. You can bring whatever fabric you want to dye (100% cotton fat quarter size) plus doilies, ribbons or lace.
Class supply list will be sent after sign up.
Workshop is $25 plus $10 for supplies.
Attendees will receive muslin and fiber reactive dye. And take home a stash of beautiful one-of-kind textiles. Only five spots left.

This class is limited to 6 students and may be taught outside under the shade of the cool trees. Sign up is available on-line and in-store.
