What students will learn?
Students will explore infinite possibilities of bead making using mixed media techniques and an exciting variety and embellishments. Incorporating paint, crystals, wire plus a stash of fabric and scraps students will create a unique piece of jewelry.

Fabric, bead base, all bead making supplies, jewelry tools, glues, fabric paints, paint brushes, stencils, rubberstamps, heat guns, beads and findings etc.
Felted Sweater Jewelry
What students will learn?
Come create some simple and fascinating wearable art jewelry using felted wool fabrics. Mixing felted wool fabrics, we will create a unique piece of jewelry. This ecological jewelry-making trend is currently sweeping the country and is simply fun and fabulous to make. Express your own style and join Yvonne Warren to learn this special technique in a hands-on, do-it-yourself workshop

Technique: how to use a variety of materials and techniques; die-cutting felted wool, using assorted color coordinated beads and charms, you’ll make colorful swirls beads made from strips of felted wool coiled together to make your own creation. Simple jewelry making techniques will be incorporated to make this fantastic, one-of-a-kind adornment.
Supplies to bring:
Students can purchase three coordinating colors of felted wool fabric or it can purchased from instructor.

Resin charms
What Students will learn?
Students will learn jewelry-making basics with how-tos for using resin in bezels. You'll love wearing a unique piece of mixed media art by creating your own charms! ICE Resin® is a nontoxic, jeweler's grade product with remarkable clarity — ideal for creating one-of-a-kind jewelry components.
Class Length: half day

Technique: mixing and pouring epoxy ICE Resin®
- Supplies to bring:
- Scissors or Xacto knife and cutting pad
- Gel medium (matte or gloss)
- Paper, such as book pages or scrapbook paper (for backgrounds)
- Found objects to put in bezel (generally 1-2" in size). Examples of such found objects include costume jewelry, plastic animals, buttons, gears, coins, beads — anything that is small enough to fit into the bezel frame.
- Any found object you would like to use as a bezel, if desired.

Mannequin Dressform Pin Cushion
What Students will learn?
You will learn how easy and fun it is to make your own dress form mannequin. No sewing experience necessary. They are ideal for hanging jewelry or just use as a pin cushion. You’ll love how fast they come together, you will be making all the time.

Supplies to bring:
- Sewing Machine / Foot and Cord
- Fabric (fat quarter or ¼ yard of cotton, canvas or light weight home décor fabric)
- Thread to match (black or white is fine)
- Scissors
- Pins or weights
- Please bring a decorative button or flat back jewel, if you want to make the flower.

- Pattern
- Stuffing
- Mannequin head and stands
Vintage Bracelets
What student will learn?
Students will create their own stunning fabric covered vintage bracelet. Learn how to choose fabrics and trims, create yo-yos and add buttons and vintage jewels to create a colorful and stunning one of a kind fabric bejeweled cuff bracelet.
Class length: 2 hours or ½ day
Level: Beginner to advanced
Technique: Fabric and gross grain ribbon selection, jewelry design, basic sewing
Class Fee: $40
Materials Fee: $10
Supplies to bring: General sewing kit, scissors: needle and thread, hot glue gun, hot glue, or jewelry glue, shank buttons or vintage jewelry parts
Materials supplied by instructor:
Ribbons, fabrics, glue guns, fabric glue, buttons, yo-yo maker tool and metal cuff base.
